like many others who work for Rotherham Borough Council have received news that there is a possibility of losing three days’ pay plus further loss of holiday pay in a bid to save £30.3 million.
There is still a chance of job losses. Many on low incomes will be affected the worst
With cuts in spending and pays cuts, how can the council warrant spending £3.4m on a Youth Centre at St Ann’s roundabout?
If the council want to save money, how about stop paying utility bills and giving free housing to so-called refugees. People who work, those on low incomes should be put before any refugee or social scrounger. We pay taxes and national insurance, haven’t we the right to say how and where our money is spent?
