STAFF from a fast food branch in Sheffield are set to fly the flag for the city at the Paralympics.
Employees from the McDonald’s restaurant in High Street are celebrating after being selected to work in the specially-commissioned branch in London’s Olympic Park during the Games.
Crew members Anita White, Leanne Baker and Dan Beresford were successful applicants in a scheme open to all employees of the national chain. They will work at the restaurant for two weeks after the Paralympics get under way on Wednesday.
They will be part of the customer service team, welcoming visitors into the restaurant, spending their time marshalling and assisting the constant stream of customers.
