A MAN who fled after a woman was viciously attacked in a Doncaster night club is being hunted by police.
Police said the victim would need extensive dental work to repair the damage caused to her mouth during the repeated assault near the dance floor.
Officers have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the attack, as they believe he may hold vital information about the incident.
The incident happened a month ago, on Friday, November 3 after the 31-year-old woman from Woodlands entered a nightclub on Silver Street in Doncaster at about 11pm.
Around an hour later the woman was standing with friends with her back to the dance floor when she was allegedly struck from behind by an unknown man.
The blow caused her to fall to the floor and she was then repeatedly assaulted by the man.
He left the nightclub via a fire escape.
The attacker is described as white, in his late teens or early 20s, 5ft 10ins tall, with a skinny frame, short cropped light hair and clean shaven.
“As a result of this incident the woman suffered cuts and bruises to her chin and mouth and is undergoing reconstructive dental work.
“This alleged assault on the woman is believed to have been unprovoked,” said a police spokesman.
