A WOMAN had to re-admitted to hospital after injuries in a South Yorkshire car crash turned out to be more serious than first thought
She has been detained in the Northern General Hospital with serious spinal injuries after her car left the road and overturned in a field near Conisbrough.
It was initially thought she had escaped from the crash with minor injuries but it was later discovered she was more seriously injured when her car rolled over on a quiet country lane.
The silver Renault Megane was travelling on the B6094 Carr Lane, towards Conisbrough, at about 9am on Friday when the car crossed the carriageway went down some banking and came to rest in a field on its roof.
The 32-year-old Maltby woman was initially described as ‘walking wounded’ but after being released from Doncaster Royal Infirmary she was re-admitted.
