A woman who was taken to hospital with a head injury after being assaulted in a Sheffield pub has sparked a police appeal.
Officers were called to The Sherwood pub on Birley Moor Road after reports a 30-year-old woman had been assaulted.
The incident happened around 11.45pm on Friday, October 16.
The victim was taken to the Northern General Hospital where she underwent treatment for a suspected serious head injury.
She was discharged from hospital later that day.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who was in the pub that night who may have witnessed the incident or has any information.
They are also keen to trace the driver of a silver Ford Focus, which left the pub around 11.50pm, as they believe the driver could help with their inquiries.
