A woman whose boyfriend threatened and verbally abused her neighbours has been evicted from her Sheffield Council property.
Sheffield County Court heard Leigharner Brown, aged 21, and her partner, Aaron Storey, 25, persistently threatened and verbally abused neighbours, played loud music, shouted and argued in and around Brown’s home at Longley Avenue West.
Storey was convicted at Sheffield Magistrates Court of verbal abuse and making threats to Brown’s neighbours at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court.
Sheffield Council applied for possession of the property due to the ongoing incidents.
The claim was heard at Sheffield County Court in June by His Honour Judge Bullimore who made a Possession Order.
Brown has now been evicted from the property.
Coun Harry Harpham, Sheffield Council cabinet member for housing, said: “We will not tolerate harassment or threatening behaviour by or towards any of our tenants.”
