The air ambulance was called after a car ran out of control and ended up coming off a South Yorkshire road.

But the helicopter was not needed in the end when emergency services established that the driver of the vehicle had not sustained any serious injuries.

She was travelling along Woodhead Lane, Blacker Hill, Barnsley, when her blue Peugeot 308 ran off the road this morning.

No other vehicles are believed to have been involved.

Firefighters, police and paramedics were alerted to the incident.
