British Transport Police have released CCTV images of two men they want to speak to following a theft from a shop at Sheffield railway station.

The incident occurred at around 9.15pm on December 1, at the Marks and Spencer store on the station concourse.

Investigating officer PC Fiona Poyner, said: “Two men entered the store. One of them went to the wine aisle and removed four bottles of champagne, passing two of them to the other man, who was standing behind him.

“They both walked out of the store, making no attempt to pay.”

Police believe the men shown in the CCTV images could have vital information about the theft and urge them, or anyone who recognises them, to come forward to assist officers with their enquiries.
