A GOOD Samaritan who helped a Sheffield pensioner whose mobility scooter was in collision with a car is being urged to come forward by police.
The 74-year-old woman suffered life-threatening injuries in the collision on Gleadless Road, near the junction with Sheaf Bank.
The incident happened at midday on Saturday.
Officers are keen to trace an Asian male who left the scene after helping the woman with her mobility scooter.
The woman was riding a mobility scooter when it collided with a black Citroen C3 driven by a 40 year-old Sheffield woman.
The mobility scooter rider suffered leg and pelvic injuries in the collision and is being treated in the Northern General Hospital.
