Flavours from around the world will return to Sheffield for the next Global Village Market this month - and readers can win £50 of vouchers to spend.
From Wednesday April 27 to Bank Holiday Monday May 2, Sheffield will host more than 45 global traders bringing an array of tastes and crafts from their home nation.
Much More Than Tapas will showcase the best of Spanish and Mediterranean food, Island Spice Grill will spice things up with Jamaican style jerk chicken while the Cheese Board will have a range of fromages from many countries.
Minot Markets will also offer tasty traditional handmade French crepes, galettes and fresh Brussels waffles.
The Nice company has been operating for 10 years and still use the traditional methods of creating and turning over the pancake with a speciality spatula from Brittany.
Market Place Manager, Matthew Hartwell, said: “Sheffield is fantastic for the Global Village Market and we always gain such a great response. “Our traders love coming to Sheffield as such a friendly city with a fantastic atmosphere. There is going to be plenty for local shoppers to come and explore.”
There will also be a range of crafts and unique gifts, from jewellery made of recycled cutlery to flowers, available.
Coun Sioned-Mair Richards, cabinet member for Neighbourhoods at Sheffield Council, said: “Sheffield is a city rich in cultural diversity and events like these bring those cultures together.
