THE RSPCA is trying to find the owner of three Maran Cockerels dumped at the side of the A57 Snake Pass.
It is thought the birds may have been there for a number of days and the animal charity say it is “amazing” they survived their ordeal.
They were found on Sunday, May 15, in a layby between Glossop and Bamford.
RSPCA inspector Dave McAdam said: “It is completely irresponsible to just dump them there.
Anyone with information about their owner should call 0300 1234999.
