When is a consultant not a consultant?

A company describes themselves as consultants, they’re marked in the accounts as consultants and yet Labour’s Town Hall bosses have decided they’re not consultants.

It’s embarrassing to see Labour politicians attempting to justify their £4.7 million bill for high-paid consultants while continuing to repeat their bogus claim that there is no funding for libraries.

Labour bosses need to stop blaming everyone else for their spending plans and take some responsibility for their own decisions. By cutting back the amount we spend on office makeovers and high-paid consultants we can protect the services we really need – like treasured local libraries.
