WHEN assistant pub manager Martin Neeves volunteered to do his bit for charity he was not horsing around.

Martin, who works at the Gypsy Queen, Beighton, decided to have the pub’s Hungry Horse Logo tattooed on his back in order to raise the money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Tattooist Jason Dinning donated his time for the inking, with Martin going under the needle in the pub watched by staff and regulars – who donated £896 to the charity in support of Martin.

Martin said: “Having the tattoo done was worth every penny for the charity and it shows how proud I am to work for Hungry Horse.”

Glester Clark, Gypsy Queen manager, said: “We would like to thank everyone who supported us.”
