What is not said about the trees

Have your say

An Amey representative told me that only existing trees are being replaced.

Those that fell down or were cut down in the last 20 years or so are ignored – even when their pits/locations are clearly evident.

This is exactly what transpired on my own street, where, after replacement, we have approximately two thirds of the trees we had 20 years ago.

So it would seem that the number of street trees in all areas (except possibly some new-build) is actually going down.
