Were voters hoodwinked?

Have your say

At the last General Election we were led to believe that the two main parties were neck and neck right up to the polling day.

This from the media and the press, how wrong they were.

Was the British public hoodwinked by the Mandarins of Whitehall?

On the Labour party election I understand that Jeremy Corbyn was only selected with 10 minutes to spare and this with only the support of 35 MPs, the minimum number.

The party decided with his left-wing views he would be a thorn in the side of the other candidates and bring back the real socialist views.

I was surprised and disappointed at the deafening silence of the dyed-in-the wool socialists Ken Livingstone, George Galloway and Dennis Skinner.

To me this is a very clever ploy by the Tory party to character-assasinate Jeremy Corbyn.

The sole object is to use his extreme views to their own advantage.

Withdraw all British troops from war zones. Slash the defence budget, and make it appear this is what the public want and then it will be less controversial.

Just a thought, despite the baggy shorts and pushbike, I’m just an ordinary guy.

No he’s not, as no state school for him, only private education.
