HUNDREDS of Chesterfield fans are expected to spend Valentine’s Day queuing for tickets to see the love of their lives run out at Wembley Stadium.
More than 20,000 Chesterfield fans could be cheering on the Spireites when they take on Swindon Town in the final of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy - and tickets go on sale on Tuesday morning.
The club has been allocated the East side of the Wembley stadium and has received a initial ticket allocation of 21,158 tickets.
Tickets, priced £26 to £60 for adults, will be available to South Stand season-ticket holders on Tuesday and West Stand season-ticket holders on Wednesday
This will be followed by East Stand season-ticket holders on Thursday, February 16, and loyalty card holders on Friday, February 17.
There will be no sale of Wembley tickets on Saturday when Chesterfield take on local rivals Sheffield Wednesday. Sales will restart on Tuesday, February 21, when the remaining tickets go on general sale.
The ticket office is open weekdays from 9am to 5pm. There will be no limit on tickets, but those requiring 10 or more will need to provide details on a form available on the club’s website.
