Sky Sports presenter Charlie Webster greeted Barnsley FC boss Danny Wilson on the latest leg of her 250-mile charity run.
The Sheffield woman, who attended Tapton School, called into Oakwell as part of her seven-day Big Challenge in support of domestic violence charity Women’s Aid.
She was presented with a Barnsley football shirt signed by all the players.
Charlie tweeted afterwards: “Great reception at Barnsley – thank you so much for the special shirt. To be auctioned with proceeds to Women’s Aid.”
Charlie also visited Doncaster Rovers, Rotherham United, Sheffield Wednesday and her own club Sheffield United during the challenge yesterday.
The previous day, Charlie had been taken to A&E where she was diagnosed with a viral gastro infection after suffering from a dodgy stomach.
But on the morning of her visit, she Tweeted: “Still a bit sicky but really looking forward to running through my home county of Yorkshire.”
Charlie’s 250-mile run will take her to 40 football clubs over seven days.
