A Sheffield firm is holding a week-long celebration of all things French and cycling to raise money for the Tour de France’s charity.
Jefferson Sheard Architects in Sidney Street is putting on the celebrations to raise cash for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
The charity is particularly special for the firm after one of its staff died of breast cancer in 2007.
The firm will donate £1 to the charity for every mile cycled by staff on their way to and from work, with a target of 340 miles, the same length as the British stage of the Tour.
