A SECOND man has appeared in court over a shooting at a Sheffield wedding.
Nuzhar Nawab, aged 39, of Vicars Road, Firth Park, appeared at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court yesterday charged with two firearms offences. Mohammed Basherat Din, 34, of Penrith Road, appeared in court on Tuesday on a single firearms charge.
Both men are in custody and will appear at Sheffield Crown Court later this month.
Police were called after a firearm was discharged at a wedding reception at the Sheffield Park Hotel, Meadowhead, last Sunday.
Nawab is charged with possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life and possession of a prohibited weapon.Din is charged with possessing a handgun with intent to cause fear of unlawful violence.
