VOLUNTEERS helped transform properties for young homeless people.
Sheffield internet provider Plusnet teamed up with city charity Roundabout to decorate one of its supported houses for young homeless people.
The homes help people to live independently and break the cycle of homelessness but some are in desperate need of refurbishment.
Plusnet sent a team of 10 volunteers along to decorate the house’s kitchen, living room and hallway as well as tidying the unkempt garden.
Jamie Ford, chief executive of Plusnet, helped out on the day.
Roundabout fundraising co-ordinator Amy Casbolt said: “Some of our properties are in desperate need of decoration.
“Providing a comfortable and homely place to stay is vital and will help improve the lives of the young people we support.”
