Wearing a heart on a window

Lakeside Village is teaming up with the British Heart Foundation to put shoppers’ Love Notes on display.

Just in time for St Valentine’s Day, charity volunteers will be at the shopping centre on Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 3pm.

Customers will be invited to donate between £1 and £50 for a heart sticker which they can personalise with declarations of love to anyone they desire and then stick it on a shop window for all to see.

Manager Cheryl Sadler said: “We are thrilled to be working alongside the BHF and actively raising awareness and funds for such an important campaign. With Valentine’s Day around the corner we’re looking forward to seeing lots of love hearts scattered around.”
