Washout weather for Bank Holiday Monday

Have your say

Wet weather has made Bank Holiday Monday a bit of wash out.

And it is more bad news as showers are expected to continue throughout the day.

Visitors to the Sheffield Fayre shouldn’t let the weather dampen their spirits - but are advised to take their wellies to Norfolk Heritage Park.

The Met Office have said that there will be patchy rain with scattered showers then expected to develop through the second half of the afternoon. There will be light winds throughout the day with a maximum temperature of 16°C. Tonight scattered showers will continue for a time through the evening before slowly dying away by the end of the night, with cloud also starting to break.

The outlook for Tuesday September 1 is only slightly better. The day will be mostly dry and feeling fresher, with some sunny spells. However the afternoon will bring scattered, thundery, showers developing for some during the afternoon.
