HIGHWAYS officials are alerting motorists to roadworks happening over the coming days around Sheffield.
Today, there will be temporary traffic lights or stop-go boards on the A625 Hathersage Road, at Dore Moor, Sharrow Vale Road, Sharrow, Badger Road, Woodhouse, Brocco Bank, near Hunters Bar, and after 7pm on the A61 on Queens Road, Highfield, and Chesterfield Road, Woodseats.
From today until Wednesday, there will be stop-go boards on Sussex Street, off Effingham Street and on Handsworth Road, Handsworth, from today until Thursday.
Temporary lights operate on Twentywell Lane, Bradway, from today until July 29, Fulwood Road, Ranmoor, from today until August 2, and on Crookes and Northfield Road, between Bole Hill Lane and Lydgate Lane, until August 7. Side roads will be closed.
There will be stop-go boards on Westfield Northway, Westfield, today and tomorrow, temporary traffic lights on East Bank Road, Arbourthorne, from today until August 12, and Hurlfield Road, Arbourthorne, from today to August 8. Eastern Avenue, Arbourthorne, will be closed for five days for resurfacing.
Tomorrow, Potter Hill Lane, High Green, and Leveson Street, Attercliffe, have temporary signals, while Spital Hill, Burngreave, and Brightside Lane have lane closures. From tomorrow until Thursday, a section of Wisewood Lane, Wisewood, is closed, and Hollinsend Road, Gleadless, has temporary traffic signals.
Scarsdale Road, Woodseats, has temporary lights on Wednesday and Thursday. On Wednesday, a lane is closed on Attercliffe Common and temporary four-way traffic lights on Ecclesfield Road.
