Online retailer ASOS lost sales of between £25 million and £30m after a blaze at its main warehouse in Barnsley, it has revealed.
The fashion firm had to suspend orders after the fire in June damaged 20 per cent of its stock at the five-storey building in Grimethorpe.
In its latest financial report, the company said it still expects profits for the year to August 31 to be in line with forecasts because of insurance payouts.
Around 70 per cent of the firm’s £159m stock was held at the warehouse.
Police and fire investigators believe the blaze was started deliberately.
An investigation to find the culprit is still under way.
ASOS chief executive Nick Robertson said: “We remain focused on the long term, with £2.5 billion of sales as our next staging post.”
