Fancy putting your pup’s paws into action and supporting local children with a shortened life expectancy at the same time?

Then all you need to do is attend Blu Crew’s sponsored dog walk called Bark around the Park in aid of Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice this Sunday.

Registration is just £5 per dog and the event sets off from the children’s hospice in North Anston just after 1pm.

Each dog will receive a free Cooke’s Pet Stores doggie bag, filled with fabulous treats.

The Blu Crew is made up of a group of supporters who organise events to raise funds for Bluebell Wood.

Check-in for the walk is at 1pm and then owners and their pooches will set off on a walk around the beautiful countryside surrounding the hospice.

On their return the walkers can treat themselves to cream teas and hot drinks which will be served in a marquee.

Melanie Rose, a fundraiser at Bluebell Wood said: “We are thrilled to have Bark Around the Park back for its third year.

“It’s great to see members of the local community and man’s best friend getting involved to help support the hospice.”
