HUNDREDS of walkers will be stepping out for charity to support the work of the Red Cross.
The walkers are set to take part in the Chatsworth Challenge on Sunday, September 9, and the Peak District Walk on September 23.
Organisers of the walks are aiming to raise £17,000 for the work of the Red Cross in Derbyshire and further afield.
The Chatsworth Challenge is a 25-mile walk, starting and finishing in Baslow and crossing Derbyshire’s gritstone edges, Eyam and Longstone moors, parts of the Monsal Trail and the grounds of Chatsworth House.
The Peak District Walk is a 12-mile walk starting and finishing in Edale.
