The countdown to find Sheffield United's greatest ever boss continues - and this time we want to know your favourite Bramall Lane managers from the club's formation in 1889 up to the 1970s..

Neil Warnock easily topped the vote to find the best Blades chief of the 2000s - and Dave Bassett triumphed from the men who took the hotseat during the 80s and 90s.

Bassett picked up 89% of the votes cast, putting him easily clear of runner-up Nigel Spackman (3%) and Howard Kendall (2%).

Our attention now turns to the men in charge from the club's formation in 1889 right up until the 1970s.
