Vote for young people’s power

Have your say

YOUNG people aged 11 to 18 are preparing for power as the Big Vote election period begins to decide the next members of the Derbyshire Youth Council.

The election, run by Derbyshire Council, is open to students from Derbyshire colleges, secondary and special schools. Youth council members get involved with decision-making and have their say about issues that affect young people.

Students can nominate themselves until a closing date of February 10. Voting will take place in March.
