Volunteers are wanted to help improve the services and care available to pregnant women and young families in Barnsley.
The South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is looking for 100 Barnsley residents interested in becoming Pregnancy and Early Year Champions.
They would work alongside health care practitioners from a range of settings to improve services and tackle health issues.
For those interested there is a public meeting planned at the Barnsley Metrodome on Thursday, October 31, from 10am to 4pm.
People will be invited to ask questions and there will be a number activities on offer for children and families including crafts and dance sessions.
