Volunteers are urgently needed to help with The Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal in Dronfield and Halfway.

Residents are needed to help on the stalls at Sainsbury’s in Wreakes Lane, Dronfield; the Co-op stores in Dronfield and at Morrisons, on Oxclose Park Road North, Halfway, between October 25 and November 11.

Christine Selden, community fundraiser, said: “At the moment we just cannot man the stands at all supermarkets for all of the time that has been allocated. All we ask is that volunteers are aged 16 or over and give us a minimum of two hours of their time. Younger volunteers are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.”
