Virtual way to contact police

Have your say

POLICE officers in Dronfield will chat online and answer questions from local residents in a ‘virtual police surgery’ aimed at making it easier for people to contact them.

Officers will answer called from residents in Dronfield, Unstone and the surrounding villages during an hour long session next Tuesday, May 24.

Residents can ask questions about local policing, raise community concerns, and find out what has been happening in their area.

Sgt Tony Klenczar, in charge of neighbourhood policing in Dronfield, said: “A large part of the area we cover is quite rural and that makes it difficult for people to come to meetings and find out about local policing. This is an ideal way for them to get in touch.”

To join the surgery, log on to just before 7pm on Tuesday.
