A 15-year-old girl was beaten to the ground and repeatedly punched in the face by a thug in a Doncaster park.
The victim was in the park off Bankwood Crescent in Rossington when she was approached by a man who asked for her phone on Saturday, June 25, at 6pm.
When she refused, the man is alleged to have chased her and pushed her to the ground, before punching her in the face a number of times. The girl suffered substantial bruising to her face.
South Yorkshire Police said the man is described as being white, between 30 and 40-years-old, around 6ft 4ins tall with an athletic build. He is described as having short shaven black hair and a distinctive beard that was a few inches long and came down to a point with no moustache.
A police spokesperson said: "It is believed the man was wearing a grey hooded jacket and a white t-shirt, but had his sleeves rolled up with a red/orange tattoo on his left forearm.
"It is thought that the man may have been with another man, though he did not approach the teenager. He is described as being white, in his 20s and wore a black hooded top with the hood up.
