Fans of classic vehicles and public transport history buffs were treated to a rare spectacle on Sunday when vintage buses ran on Sheffield’s roads.
Several retro buses made trips through the city and along Ecclesall Road throughout the day.
The buses departed from Norfolk Street and ran all day to Fox House, a round-trip of about 90 minutes.
Shorter routes also served Dore and Hunters Bar.
Some of the buses had not been seen on the city’s streets for over 40 years, and two were prviously involved in the former London red bus scheme.
The event was organised as a charity fundraiser in aid of Pancreatic Cancer UK.
