THE Christmas season gets under way early in a South Yorkshire village which is holding its annual festive fair in November.
Bolsterstone is hosting the event on Saturday, November 19, between 10am and 4pm. Stalls will be selling a range of specialist Christmas gifts including hand made glassware, silver work and home baking.
There will also be children’s activities, a Christmas café with mince pies and Christmas Fayre with Santa in his grotto.
There is also music and singing inside the church, featuring musicians and singers from Stocksbridge High School, Junior School and Deepcar St John’s School.
In previous years, the event has raised around £1,000 for community projects.
