A VILLAGE carnival will be back with a bang this year.
After years without one, people in Dinnington have resurrected their annual carnival.
It takes place at Dinnington Welfare Ground, on Saturday, June 30, from noon.
There will be more than 70 stalls and sideshows, selling everything from crafts to games and plants.
Youngsters will be kept entertained with a fairground and go-karting, while bands will perform in a marquee.
A main arena featuring belly dancers, police dogs and street dancing will be also set up on the grounds.
Children are invited to come in fancy dress for the chance to win a prize, with judging set to take place at about 12.50pm.
Carnival entry is free, although there will be a 50p charge to park.
