Snow caused major traffic disruption across Sheffield on Wednesday evening - affecting thousands of fans making their way home from the League Cup semi-final at Bramall Lane.
Drivers faced lengthy delays on City Road, where tailbacks have resulted in trams being unable to get past Spring Lane in the direction of Halfway.
All roads around Bramall Lane and the city centre were busy and many roads on higher ground were reported as being difficult to access.
Sheaf Square roundabout as very busy as was Manor Top.
Snake Pass has also been closed because of snow and ice.
Other roads closed in Derbyshire this evening include the Woodhead Pass, Winnats Pass, Castleton, Rushup Edge, between Castleton and Chapel-en-le-Frit, A53 Axe Edge, A6024 Holme Moss at Crowde, and Torside between Glossop and Woodhead Pass.
The Parkway was moving freely at midnight but side roads into Rotherham were passable only with care.
