Police have now named the five teenagers, who died following a crash in Conisbrough on Saturday night.

The five teenagers have been named as: Bartosz Bortniczak, 18, Blake Cairns, 16, Arpad Kore, 18, Jordanna Goodwin, 16, and Megan Storey, 16.

All five teenagers are from the Doncaster area, and were travelling in a Toyota car that collided with a Seat car.

A 21-year-old man, who was driving a black Vauxhall Corsa, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and released on police bail.

The crash happened at around 9.40pm on Saturday night on the on the A630 at Conisbrough, approximately 600 metres from Archer Way.

Kayleigh O’Connor is one of dozens of mourners who have travelled to the site of the crash in Sheffield Road, Conisbrough this afternoon to pay their respects.

The 16-year-old said: “They were the nicest people. It’s such a shock to know they’ve gone.”

“I really can’t believe it.”

The scene of the crash is just 100m from the location of another horror collision which left three teenagers dead on the same road three years ago.

The driver of the Seat car, a 45-year-old man from Mexborough, suffered a broken leg.

The road was closed while police were at the scene and was reopened at around 3am.
