Thousands of people helped commemorate VE Day in Sheffield at a packed event held at the Cathedral today.
Crowds were wowed by a performance by the Bobby Pins, which brought the sound of the 1940s to the event, before ‘Winston Churchill’ gave his famous VE Day speech.
The event marks 70 years since VE Day, the end of the Second World War, in 1945.
Several historic vehicles were lined up outside the Cathedral and more than 3,000 people visited the event at the city centre throughout the day.
There were also stalls selling food and gifts.
