A sponsored wheelie bin push has helped to raise hundreds of pounds to help a Sheffield youngster walk for the first time.
Workers from Veolia, The Green Company and the GMB walked 12.5 miles from High Green to Sheffield city centre to raise money for Lillie Mansell, who has celebral palsy.
A £50,000 fundraising quest has already raised £36,000 to enable Lillie to have pioneering surgery in America which will hopefully let the three-year-old take her first steps.
Peter Davies, from the GMB, said: “Little Lillie is related to one of our members. He told us about their charity and we decided to try and raise a bit of money for her.”
The group had already raised more than £400 before they set off on their mammoth walk.
