Like two sweet peas in a pod – that is sisters Tia and Tilly who are being cared for at Sheffield’s RSPCA animal shelter.
Now the pair are on the look out for a new home together.
Tony Benham, animal RSPCA Sheffield Branch animal care manager, said: “We believe Tia and Tilly have a special bond between them so we want to home them together.
“Both are delightful, friendly and loving crossbreed ladies, who came to us in July with no particular health issues
“Aged about six, they pine for each other badly if separated, but both are very loving and affectionate towards people.
“They are robust bundles of joy that make the staff laugh and they love to play.
“We believe Tia and Tilly would be fine with children, but would prefer those children to be calm and over the age of eight.
“As individuals, they are more inclined to socialise with other dogs, but when together, they much prefer to stick with each other.
“Tia and Tilly would prefer a home where they can stay together.
“They are very well behaved and are very placid and laid back.”
