The RSPCA Sheffield branch is hoping you’ll say yes to Tess.

The young black and white dog came to the branch very underweaight and had to be given lots of care and plenty of food to make her tail wag again.

Now she is looking for a new home and would love to put a spring in a new owner’s step this spring.

RSPCA Sheffield’s acting animal care manager Tammy Wilson said: “Tess is a lovely young lady who was brought to the centre very underweight.

“She has been receiving lots of tender loving care and plenty of food to bring her back up to the right weight for her breed and type.

“Now we need someone to carry on the good work as she is ready to be rehomed and to start life afresh.”

Three-yea-old Tess is very loving and eager to please but would benefit from some further training. She is best suited to a home with children over the age of 13. She is polite around other dogs and would therefore be suitable for a home with other dogs subject to a ‘meet and greet’ at the centre.

The RSPCA Sheffield branch on Stadium Way, Attercliffe, is open every day, except Wednesday, from 12.30pm until 3.30pm and we can be contacted on 0114 289 8050.

It is the branch’s Easter fair on Saturday, March 28 from 10.30am to 3pm. Visit www.rspcasheffield.org
