Kia’s journey has not been a steady one - so now this pooch is looking for a quiet, stable home where she can rest her head.
This beautiful, brindle Staffordshire Bull Terrier was first brought to RSPCA Sheffield in 2011 suffering from a nasty skin condition which has left her scarred.
Although she was adopted at one point, she had to be brought back to the centre on Stadium Way, Attercliffe, due to a change in the family’s circumstances.
Animal care manager Tony Benham said: “A loving, affectionate and intelligent dog, Kia was originally brought to us by an Inspector in 2011 suffering with a terrible skin condition.
“Although it is now fully healed, it has left her with physical scars. Despite these, she remains a beautiful looking dog and her pleasant personality shines on.
“As Kia has been through quite a bit of flux and change, we are looking for a quiet, stable home with experienced dog owners where people have the time, patience and lots of love to give.
Kia is ideally suited to an adult-only home with no other dogs. She will need an average of two 30-minute walks per day.
