This perky pooch is looking for a new owner to brighten up the dullest of their days with her charm.

Four-year-old Izzy is an intelligent brindle and white crossbreed who already knows a lot of her commands.

RSPCA Sheffield branch acting animal care manager Tammy Wilson said: “Izzy is very friendy and she’s just yearning to give a new family or person her love and to bring them fun times and happiness.

“An intelligent dog, she loves to play. She’ll soon show you why she’s worth her weight in gold and why it’s worth investing your time and love in such a great, new furry friend.”

The branch is seeking a home where Izzy is the only dog as she isn’t keen on other canines. She would enjoy an active home with owners who will keep her occupied and stimulated.

If her new home has children, youngsters over the age of 13 would be most suited to Izzy.

The RSPCA Sheffield branch on Stadium Way, Attercliffe, is open every day, except Wednesday, from 12.30pm until 3.30pm and can be contacted on 0114 289 8050.

The branch’s next event is a ladies’ fashion show and sale on April 29. Doors open at 6.30pm and tickets are available in advance only. For more information, visit
