Adorable nine-month-old puppy Decker is on the look out for love and a home he can call his own.
He’s currently being cared for at the RSPCA Animal Shelter in Attercliffe, Sheffield, where staff describe him as ‘lovable and intelligent’.
Animal care manager Tony Benham said: “Decker is a charming puppy who is both steady and outgoing.
“He loves to be with people, he loves life and he is very inquisitive and interested in what you are doing.
“He’d make a fantastic furry companion for the right family or owner.
“He’s a white cross-breed with soft fur and an equally soft nature.
“We believe he may be crossbred from a female Staffy and a male Labrador which helps to explain his intelligence and gentle nature.
“He is now a happy dog who is ready to find a permanent, forever home. He is currently being fostered by one of the staff where he is responding excellently to training, care and cuddles.
“While Decker has no other known health issues, he has severe hip problems which will eventually require lifelong pain relief – which will be supported by our animal centre.”
The Sheffield branch of the RSPCA is open daily from 12.30pm until 3.30pm except Wednesdays when it is open from 5pm until 7pm.
The centre also needs foster homes for its animals. Call 0114 2898050.
