One of the borough’s most secret clubs has marked tonight’s Eurovision Song contest with a cake off in honour of the annual competition.

Members of Doncaster’s Clandestine Club have all baked cakes, based on a Eurovision song or country, to mark the event.

The mysterious cake club meets a few times a year in a secret location, and everyone brings a cake they have baked based on a particular theme.

Desiree Riding, who has been in the secret cake mad club for around three years, baked a Conchita Wurst cake in honour of last year’s winner.

The 39-year-old said she was rooting for England this year.

Other cakes baked with a Eurovision theme include a chocolate bunt cake representing Germany and a Belguin chocolate cake.
