The Famous Sheffield Shop celebrates its 30th anniversary this month - with news its global reputation is growing.

Owner Paul Iseard, who bought the Ecclesall Road store in 2001, and has seen the appeal of its ‘Sheffield Made’ products grow.

Its focus on Sheffield craftsmanship and metalwork has drawn in online visitors from 145 countries to the shop’s site in the past 12 months.

“To have interest from so many people across the world is a great indicator Sheffield’s reputation is in rude health,” he said.

“Every time I take an order to my suppliers I am proud to be giving them Sheffield craftmanship to sell all over the world.”

Part of the 30th anniversary celebrations will see the shop collaborate with Sheffield Assay Office, creating a unique hallmark to be used on a range of products.

The Famous Sheffield Shop first opened on Ecclesall Road three decades ago in 1983.
