PUBS, clubs and restaurants across Sheffield have been accredited with Best Bar None status to recognise their efforts to cut underage drinking, crime and disorder and keep customers and staff safe.
A total of 47 venues were honoured at a ceremony held in the city.
Awards were presented for the best licensed premises in each category and an overall Best Bar None winner announced.
Best Bar None is a nationally recognised award scheme supported by the Home Office which aims to promote responsible management and operations of premises licensed to sell alcohol.
The scheme has been adopted by more than 95 towns and cities across the UK.
It encourages venues to improve their standards to reach a national benchmark.
