DRONFIELD’S Vault Restaurant has won best newcomer in the Eat Sheffield Awards 2012.
The Vault Restaurant, located downstairs at the Dronfield Arms in Chesterfield Road, opened in June and offers modern British cuisine.
Head Chef Paul Widdowson cut his teeth in London at the Michelin-starred Dukes Hotel, St. James Place and The Oak Room, Piccadilly, before going on to work all over the country in various Michelin- starred and rosette establishments with some of the country’s leading chefs.
Paul said: “I’m honoured to have won this award. We’re working hard to offer innovative food and great service and the feedback so far has been fantastic. We’re looking forward to wowing even more customers over the Christmas period and in 2013.”
