Vandals pull up trees
CHILDREN who spent time turning a green area in their neighbourhood into a nicer place have been left devastated after vandals struck.
Trees planted by pupils from Woodseats School were pulled up by vandals on Thursday night. The trees were then left on the ground and the holes filled in.
Deborah Walker of The Friends of Barber’s Field urged anyone with information to contact police at Woodseats Station.

We need to give them some cuddles and listen to their needs - none of this birching or making them accountable for their actions like the bad (Good) old days.

Monday, February 20, 2012 at 10:51 AMWhat a sad society we live in where mindless idiots find amusement in wanton destruction. The great pity is that these low lives know that the chance of them being identified is rather low. If they are ever identified and brought to book very little will happen to them. If they get anything as serious as a stern telling off, I will be very surprised. I then can easily imagine them complaining that their ‘human rights’ have been infringed by being told they should not pull trees up.
