The owners of a husky dog which has been missing for three weeks say their ‘life has been put on hold’ and have begun a social media campaign to track him down.
Shadow, a husky cross, went missing while out walking with his owner Charlotte Coleman and her partner Craig Tipton on Moorland close to Stocksbridge, Sheffield, on November 7.
A campaign has since swept social media, calling on eagle-eyed members of the public to help track down the much-loved pet, using the hashtag #FindShadow.
Photos have been shared across Twitter and Facebook, while search teams have combed the area after possible sightings were reported.
The most recent sighting was in Thurgoland, but those behind the appeal are urging people to keep looking for Shadow across the area.
Ms Coleman said: “Since Shadow went missing not a day has gone by without us searching for him, worrying about him and missing him. Our life has been placed on hold and is empty without him.
“The support we have had from people including #FindUKDogs has been incredible, with volunteers such as Grant Benjamin taking time out from his charity work to assist us.
“They have co-ordinated online and on the ground searches, drawing on a wealth of experience and volunteer manpower. When we have not known where to turn they have been an invaluable guide. “
